Scrape the names and (public) information of everyone who liked a Facebook post

Have you found a Facebook post or have written your own Facebook post and it's creating engagement within the community you're targeting? Congratulations!

Now what do you do with this very interesting segment of people? This tool will help you scrape every available info about all the likers from their names to their bio and profile URL.

And yes, it does differentiate the different possible reactions, collecting around a max of 4000 profiles per type of reaction.

1. Create your account.

Free trial for 14 days. Then switch to a Free plan or become a customer.

* no credit card required

2. Add this Facebook automation to your account.

3. Click on Configure me!

You'll now see the 3 configuration dots blinking. Click on them.

4. Easy & safe authentication

This automation will connect to the website on your behalf. The safest and most efficient way for Phantombuster to authenticate as yourself is by using your session cookies.

To make that process as easy as possible you can use Phantombuster's browser extension. It's a 2-click installation.

If you're operating from another browser and/or want to do it manually, here is how to do it.

5. Specify which posts you want to scrape likers from.

Create a spreadsheet on Google Spreadsheet.

Fill it with Facebook posts URLs. One event URL per row, all in column A.

Make this spreadsheet public so Phantombuster can access it.

Paste the spreadsheet's URL to Phantombuster.

Start your automation!

You're all set. Just click "launch" to get your automation started!

Set this Facebook automation on repeat

Once your automation's configuration is ready, you can schedule repetitive launches. This will allow you to avoid rate limits, scrape more data and get your automated workflows to spread over days, weeks, even months.

To do so, go to your dashboard and look for your automation's “Settings” button.

Then, select a frequency:

And Save those new settings at the bottom of the page.

👮 Facebook limits: Facebook only displays a maximum of 4000 users per reaction. Phantombuster can only extract the data that's available. For that reason, expect that amount eventhough they're more likers than that.

Since Phantombuster's servers are located on the west coast of the USA, Facebook might to consider those login attempts as unusual activities. It's likely that they'll then temporarily lock your account and ask you to confirm your login.

In order to use the Facebook APIs to their max potential, we recommend using a proxy close to you.

This API will output CSV and/or JSON containing the following fields:

  • profileUrl (Facebook profile URL)
  • name (Full name)
  • profilePictureUrl (Profile picture URL)
  • reactionType (Which of the reaction like used (Like/WoW/Love/etc.))
