How to auto follow on LinkedIn
This Phantom will automatically follow a list of LinkedIn profiles in just a few easy steps.
Connect to your LinkedIn account using your session cookie.
Gather the LinkedIn profiles you want to auto follow.
Launch the Phantom or set it on repeat to start auto following.
Keep a record of all the profiles you've auto followed in a resulting spreadsheet.
Check out the LinkedIn Auto Follow Phantom Tutorial tab for a more detailed guide.
Take note:
The best results come steadily over time, rather than through spamming. Because we care about the safety of your account, we strongly suggest using this Phantom at a moderate rate.
To automate safely and efficiently, we recommend following a maximum of 80 profiles per day with this Phantom (or 150 if you have a Sales Navigator account), spread out across several launches within working hours.
Why should you automatically follow LinkedIn profiles?
When you connect with someone on LinkedIn, you're automatically following them. Though these two things don't always have to come hand in hand - follow users you're not yet connected with as part of your lead generation strategy.
1. Get your profile noticed
Following someone on LinkedIn will send them a notification. This presents a great opportunity for your profile to be seen - at the very least they'll visit your profile, and in all likelihood, they'll follow you back, and they may even reach out to connect.
2. Warm your leads up
The user's publications will start appearing on your feed, where you can engage with it to show your support and, again, get yourself noticed.
3. Get emails
This Phantom will give you the option to visit the users' profiles and extract all the available information on them - including email addresses using our email discovery service.
4. Find a fresh pool of leads
Certain users may attract your perfect target audience, meaning their content may be the exact spot you'll find them, as they like and comment on posts. Extract these users with our LinkedIn Post Liker Phantom or LinkedIn Post Commenter Phantom.
How to build a follow-unfollow sequence on LinkedIn
Following profiles doesn't mean you necessarily want to stay following them.
If you've followed them for any of the reasons above, you've likely gained the new leads, contact details, followers, or connections you want, and now want to declutter your feed and bring down your following-to-follower ratio.
You can set up the perfect follow-unfollow sequence as follows:
Gather the profile URLs of LinkedIn users you want to follow in a spreadsheet.
Set the Phantom to launch repeatedly to gradually follow your entire profile list, following a maximum of 40 profiles per day (or 75 with a LinkedIn Sales Navigator account).
Set up the LinkedIn Auto Unfollow Phantom with the same spreadsheet full of profile URLs.
After the time interval of your choice from when your Follow Phantom first launched (e.g. one week), set the Unfollow Phantom to launch repeatedly at the same frequency and process the same amount of profiles as your first Phantom each day.
This workflow will create a steady LinkedIn follow-unfollow strategy where you're gradually unfollowing all the profiles you followed, after having left the perfect time window for them to follow you back or for you to gather the information you need.
This way, you can grow your own following or lead enrichment database organically. Plus, you can maintain a healthy following-to-follow balance on your LinkedIn account and only follow the profiles you really appreciate.
