LinkedIn Auto Follow

PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Auto Follow Automation lets you automatically follow or unfollow multiple LinkedIn profiles in bulk. This tutorial guides you through setup, options, and key safety limits to get started quickly.

• Daily safety limits: Basic LinkedIn accounts should stay at or below 80 follows/unfollows per day; Sales Navigator accounts up to 150. Halve these limits if email discovery is enabled.

• Input requirements: Input must be LinkedIn profile URLs only. Google Sheets must be shared as "Anyone with the link," and CSV files must be publicly accessible.

• Free plan & Trial limitations: CSV input upload is not supported. CSV exports include only the first 10 rows, and JSON exports are not available.

• Email discovery credits: 1 credit equals 1 email lookup attempt. Enabling discovery increases execution time per profile.

• Slot usage: 1 slot required.

1. Choose which LinkedIn profiles to follow: Select targets using a saved LinkedIn Leads list, a profile URL, a Google Sheet, a publicly accessible CSV (paid plans only), or results from another Phantom.

   The Phantom reads column A by default; specify a column header if your URLs are located elsewhere.

2. Connect your LinkedIn account: Install the PhantomBuster browser extension to connect your session in one click, or manually add your session cookie if not using Chrome or Firefox.

   Keep your browser up to date to avoid session issues. If not using the extension, you must manually retrieve and update your session cookie.

3. Choose how many profiles to process per launch: Set the number of profiles to process per launch (default and maximum is 10). Schedule multiple launches throughout the day to reach higher daily totals while remaining safe.

4. Adjust action and scraping: In Advanced settings, enable "Unfollow instead of follow" to remove connections, or disable profile scraping to speed up runs.

   Disabling profile scraping speeds up runs but prevents email discovery.

5. Enrich with professional emails: Choose an email discovery service using PhantomBuster credits or connect a third-party provider.

   Email discovery does not guarantee a verified email for every profile, but credits are consumed for every lookup attempt.

6. Select launch frequency: Decide when the Automation runs: manually, once at a set time, on a repeated schedule, or after another Phantom finishes.

7. Launch and review results: Click Launch, then check the Results tab to view processed profiles and export your data.
