How to use the LinkedIn Profile URL Finder
PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Profile URL Finder Automation lets you quickly find LinkedIn profile URLs for your leads using names, company, or email data. This guide explains how to set up, launch, and review results with the Automation.
Required input: You must provide either (First name + Last name + Company) or (Full name + Professional email). Without these, reliable matching is not possible.
Matching behavior: The Phantom performs a Google search with your exact input and returns the first result found; unclear or poorly structured inputs may reduce accuracy.
Credit usage: Each lookup consumes 1 URL finder credit. Daily and monthly limits depend on your subscription plan.
Free plan and trial limits: Trials process only the first 100 rows. Free plans limit CSV exports to the first 10 rows and do not support JSON exports or dynamic viewing links.
Choose your input source: Select lead data by providing a Google Sheet URL, a public CSV, results from another Phantom, or a HubSpot contact list. Ensure your data includes the required name and company or email fields.
Google Sheets must be shared with 'Anyone with the link', and CSV files must be publicly accessible. CSV upload is only available on paid plans. Adding Country and Language columns can improve matching accuracy.
Configure processing behavior: Set how many rows to process per launch to manage volume, and optionally rename your results file.
These settings apply only to Google Sheet or CSV inputs. To reduce detection risk, process small batches (e.g., 10–20 rows) rather than all at once. Renaming the file restarts processing from the beginning.
Select launch frequency: Choose to launch manually, on a schedule, after another Phantom, or using advanced scheduling.
For best results, run during weekday business hours and ensure chained Phantoms do not overlap.
Launch and review results:
Start the Automation and check the Results tab for matched LinkedIn profile URLs. Download results as CSV or JSON, or view them as a dynamic lead list.
