Setup summary
Here's a tutorial to help you set up the LinkedIn Profile URL Finder:
Choose where your Lead data lives
To get started, choose where your lead data lives. You can pull contacts from:
A manual entry: Type directly in the input field, great for quick, one-off lookups.
A spreadsheet URL (Google Sheet or CSV file): Make sure your file is publicly accessible.
My Phantoms: Use results from another Phantom you have already run as your input.
HubSpot: Select one of your HubSpot contact list.
No matter which input source you choose, the phantom requires more than just full names to operate effectively.
Note: This automation will process only the first 100 profiles in your list if you are on a free trial account.
To ensure accurate results, please include either email addresses or company names alongside each full name in your input data.
Your contact info needs to follow one of these formats:
- First name and last name or Full name + Company name
OR
- First name and last name or Full name + Professional email address
Without one of these additional identifiers, the Phantom will not be able to launch and will return an error. We’ll use the Spreadsheet URL option as an example below.
1. Paste your Google Sheet or CSV URL: The Phantom will auto-detect and fill in the fields based on your column headers.
2. 'Country and Language' (optional): Narrow down your search by selecting the country and language where the Phantom should look for your leads' LinkedIn profiles. If your exact location or language isn’t listed, pick the closest relevant option, one that still aligns with where your targets are most likely to be active.3. 'Spreadsheet settings' (optional): Select which columns to keep and carry over in your results file.
Fine-tune how your spreadsheet is processed
This setting only apply if you're using a Google Sheet or CSV file as your input.
1. Number of Spreadsheet Rows to Process per Launch (Optional): Set a limit on how many rows you want the Phantom to process each time it runs.
Leave this field empty if you want the Phantom to process all rows in one go.
Or enter a number to split your input list across multiple launches. This is helpful for staying within platform limits or running longer lists safely.
2. Name Your Results File (Optional): Give your results file a custom name.
Set when and how often your Phantom should run
Timing matters when building your pipeline. Set when and how often your Phantom runs to stay consistent without manual effort.
Start by selecting a launch frequency from the four available options:
1. Once (default option)
Run the Phantom one time only. You can choose to launch it manually.
Or schedule it to launch at a specific date and time.
2. Repeatedly
Run the Phantom automatically on a regular basis. You can set it to run once per day, several times during working hours, and more.3. After another Phantom
Run this Phantom after another one finishes. This lets you chain Phantoms together to create automated flows.
Choose which Phantom it should follow.
4. Advanced
Customize your schedule with more control. You can pick specific minutes, hours, days, as well as days of the week or months.
Use this if you need a very precise launch schedule.
Discover your results
Once your automation has run, you can view everything it found in the Phantom’s console.
In this example, we used a Google Sheet to find LinkedIn profile URLs.Inside the Phantom’s console, you’ll find three tabs:
Leads: This tab gives you quick access to your PhantomBuster lead database.
Click the button provided to open your saved leads list directly.
Results: View and download the extracted data from this run.
By default, results are available in CSV format.
Click the More button to download the data in JSON format if needed.
Activity: See a summary of what happened during the launch. You can also access the Phantom’s logs by hovering over the activity results, and review the full setup configuration used for the launch.
Use these tabs to review, analyze, and manage the outcome of your automation directly from the console.
