Wether you have found a post or have your own post that is creating engagement within the community you're targeting, this tool will help you scrape info about all the commenters.

You will be able to create a CSV file containing 3 key pieces of information.

  1. LinkedIn profile links. (could be used with our other API: LinkedIn Network Booster)
  2. Comments content.
  3. Names of who commented.

What will you need? ⚙️

  • "sessionCookie": Your session Cookie from Linkedin.
  • "postUrl": The direct link of a LinkedIn post.
  • "csvName": The name of the CSV file you'll be creating.

How long does that take to set up this amazing hack?

It will take you no more than 3minutes. 🕒

What do you need to do?

1. Use this API on your account.👌

(If you don't have an account yet, follow me)

2. Click on Configure me!

You'll now see the 3 configuration dots blinking. Click on them.

3. Linkedin authentication 🔑

Because the script will manipulate LinkedIn for you, it needs to be logged in to your LinkedIn account. For that you just need to copy paste your session cookie in the script argument:

  • Using Chrome, go to your LinkedIn homepage and open the inspector
→ Right click anywhere on the page and select “Inspect”
    CMD+OPT+i on macOS
    F12 or CTRL+MAJ+i on Windows

  • Locate the “Application” tab

  • Select “Cookies” > “” on the left menu.

  • Locate the “li_at” cookie.

  • Copy what’s under “Value” (Double click on it then Ctrl+C) and paste it into your script Argument)

Replace the selected area with your sessionCookie

// How to access your cookies with Edge, Firefox and Safari//

4. Add a LinkedIn post URL 📑

Below your sessionCookie you’ll find postUrl

Add, in between double quotes, the link of the post you want to scrape:

5. Name your future CSV

Just add in the textbox the name you want to give your CSV.

Click on 💾 Save

Click on Launch & Enjoy!

It’s done! All that is left to do is to click on "launch" to try your script!

Once the script has finished his work, download the CSV by clicking on "Link (download/share)"

Now that you have your CSV, you can import it into a new Google Spreadsheet and use our script LinkedIn Network Booster to add every commenter with a personnalized message.

This API will output CSV and/or JSON containing the following fields:

  • profileLink (LinkedIn profile URL)
  • name
  • comment (which comment did he/she leave)

Like all APIs on Phantombuster, this API comes with an HTTP endpoint. Launch it from your computer, smartphone or server with a simple HTTP request and get its result as JSON. Click Use this API above to create your new endpoint.

Clone this API

The script below is all that's required to make the API work. If you're a developer, click the button to clone the code into a new Custom API Agent in your Phantombuster account. This operation will allow you to customize the API to your exact needs. This will also create a custom HTTP endpoint.
