LinkedIn Post Commenters Export

Tutorial

  1. How to use the LinkedIn Post Commenters Export

PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Post Commenters Export Automation lets you extract commenters from specific LinkedIn posts. This tutorial covers how to set up, configure, and launch the Phantom for efficient comment extraction.

    • Required inputs: LinkedIn session cookie, LinkedIn post URLs, and browser user agent (auto-detected via extension).

    • Free plan limits: CSV upload is not supported as an input. CSV exports are limited to the first 10 rows, and JSON/download links are unavailable.

    • Large data limits: Posts with 10k–20k+ comments may not allow full extraction; use multiple launches or Watcher mode to capture all activity.

    • Safety best practices: Keep your browser updated to prevent cookie expiry and avoid running other LinkedIn Phantoms simultaneously.

    1. Connect your LinkedIn account: Install the PhantomBuster browser extension and link your LinkedIn session in one click, or manually add your session cookie if needed.

    2. Provide LinkedIn post URLs: Add target posts by pasting a URL, linking a Google Sheet (shared with “Anyone with the link”), or uploading a public CSV (paid plans only).

When using spreadsheets, the Phantom reads column A by default. Enter the column header name in the settings to use a different column.

    3. Set processing volume and behavior: Optionally set how many posts and comments to process per launch, enable Watcher mode to extract only new comments, and choose whether to include comment replies.

Leaving number fields empty processes all items. Watcher mode removes the “Number of posts per launch” field and extracts only new comments on repeated runs.

    4. Configure result file: Optionally name your results file and specify fields to keep for a filtered CSV export.

Renaming the results file between launches creates a new file and restarts processing from the beginning.

    5. Select launch frequency: Choose to launch manually, schedule a one-time or recurring run, or trigger the Automation after another Phantom.

    6. Adjust advanced settings (optional): Change execution limits, retries, notifications, proxies, webhooks, or file management only if needed.

    7. Launch and retrieve results: Click Launch, then access your results from the Results tab to download as CSV or JSON, or export to Google Sheets.

Estimated execution speed is about 20 seconds per 10 comments, including replies.
