Engaging with other LinkedIn users and commenting on their content is a way to increase your own visibility and build your brand. Sometimes, commenting can be an even better strategy than posting yourself! However, coming up with a smart and impactful comment that will drive engagement from the audience who sees it can be difficult and time consuming.

With the AI LinkedIn Post Responder Phantom, you’ll never have to waste time coming up with impactful comments on LinkedIn posts again.

How does it work?

The AI LinkedIn Post Responder automatically finds posts that your target customer has written within the last month, selects the post where writing a comment would be most impactful for you, and writes a reply that is relevant and contextual to you, the poster, and the post itself.

There are two prewritten prompts you can use:

  • Pitch your product based on a recent post

  • Comment on a recent post

You can also chose to write your own prompt for the AI engine to use. Each prompt can be customized to include details about yourself that may be relevant for the comment. The AI model will write the comment as if it comes directly from you.

Use your Lead lists as input

The AI LinkedIn Post Responder leverages the Lead lists you have created within your LinkedIn Leads page. If you don’t have any leads in your lead page yet, you can use the LinkedIn Search Export, or other LinkedIn Phantoms to gather leads in your Leads page. You can also use a single LinkedIn URL of someone already in your leads list as input for the AI LinkedIn Post Responder Phantom.

Will the AI LinkedIn Post Responder post the comment for me?

No, the AI LinkedIn Post Responder Phantom only writes the comment and saves it with your lead in the Leads page. It will not post the comment on LinkedIn on your behalf. If you wish to automate the actual posting of the comment as well, you can run the LinkedIn Auto Commenter Phantom to post the comments. You can use the link to the results file from the AI LinkedIn Post Responder as input in the LinkedIn Auto Commenter Phantom

Note: If you want to edit the comment before posting it, you can do so in your LinkedIn leads page. The edits you make in the Leads page does not reflect in the result file of the AI LinkedIn Post Responder Phantom, but you can download the edited comment as a CSV from the LinkedIn Leads page and use it as input in the Auto Commenter Phantom, or if you only have a few comments to post you can find the link to the original post in the postURL field, and manually paste your comment directly on the post.

Where do I find the comment the AI LinkedIn Post Responder has written?

You can find your comment in two places, either in the results file of the Phantom, or in your LinkedIn Leads page. In the LinkedIn Leads page, you can click on the name of the lead and find the ✨ AI enrichment tab at the top. Your comments will be saved here.

If you’re not happy with the comment, you can either edit it in the Leads page, or run the Phantom once more. If you set the Phantom to "Run prompt on first 10 leads", it will overwrite the data in the previous results.

How do AI credits work with the AI LinkedIn Post Responder?

Your account comes with a certain number of AI credits. Every time you run an AI Phantom, it will use the AI credits. How many credits will be used each time you run the Phantom will vary, and depends on how much data is being processed each time. This is based on the OpenAI API pricing and not within PhantomBuster's control.

Longer prompts and responses, and more input will lead to more credits being used. If you ask the AI to write a 5000-word poem as your comment, it will use a lot of credits, whereas a shorter message will use fewer credits.

Things that can impact the number of credits used include (but are not limited to)...

  • Length of the prompt you're using as input

  • Length of the response you're asking the AI to write for you

  • Number of columns you feed to GPT (amount of LinkedIn data)

  • Translation (English uses fewer credits than other languages)

  • GPT Model (GPT 3.5 use approximately 30 times less credits than GPT 4)

What's the difference between the two GPT Models?

You can select either GPT 3.5 or GPT 4 as the "engine" to craft your messages. While they are both very powerful, GPT 4 is a newer and more powerful AI model which is better at crafting messages than GPT 3.5.

GPT 4 takes a lot more processing power to craft messages, and therefore "costs" a lot more in terms of AI credits. Using GPT 4 can use as much as 30 times the number of credits for one response compared to if you're using GPT 3.5, so be careful to not use up all your AI credits too quickly if you're using GPT 4.

Note: We recommend Free users and users on Starter Plans to leverage GPT 3.5 in order to not run out of AI credits too quickly.
