PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Auto Unfollow Automation helps you quickly unfollow specific LinkedIn profiles in bulk. This guide shows you how to set up and run the Automation efficiently.

• Safety limits: Process up to 80 profiles per week on Basic accounts and 150 per week with Sales Navigator. If email discovery is enabled, reduce these weekly limits by half.

• Functionality: This Phantom does not scan your "Following" list automatically; you must provide specific profile URLs to unfollow.

• Input requirements: Google Sheets must be shared with "Anyone with the link". CSV inputs must be publicly accessible and are available only on paid plans.

• Free plan limitations: CSV uploads are not supported. Exports are limited to the first 10 rows, and direct file download links are unavailable.

• Email credits: If enabled, email discovery consumes 1 credit per attempt.

1. Prepare your unfollow list (optional but recommended): Use the LinkedIn Profile Follower Collector to export your followers if you don't have a list. Filter the results for those you follow and copy their profile URLs into a spreadsheet.

2. Provide the LinkedIn profiles to unfollow: Choose your input source: a saved LinkedIn Leads list, a single profile URL, a Google Sheet, a CSV file, or results from another Phantom.

   By default, the Phantom reads column A. To use a different column, specify its header name in the settings.

3. Connect your LinkedIn account: Connect your session automatically via the PhantomBuster browser extension (Chrome/Firefox) or manually paste your session cookie.

   Keep your browser updated to prevent session cookies from expiring prematurely.

4. Set how many profiles to unfollow per launch: The limit is capped at 10 profiles per launch; schedule multiple launches throughout the week to process more. Optionally check "Disable profile scraping" to speed up execution.

   Execution takes approximately 25 seconds per unfollow.

5. Enable email discovery (optional): Select PhantomBuster credits or a third-party service (Dropcontact, Hunter, Snov) to find emails during the process.

6. Select launch frequency: Configure the Phantom to run manually, at specific times, repeatedly, or after another Phantom finishes.

7. Adjust Advanced settings (optional): Define proxy settings, webhook notifications, or file management preferences if necessary.

8. Launch and review results: Click Launch to start. Verify unfollows in the Results tab and export data to CSV or JSON.
