Here's a tutorial to help you set up the LinkedIn Message Sender:
Connect to LinkedIn using PhantomBuster's browser extension
This automation acts on your behalf on LinkedIn. The safest and most efficient way for the Phantom to connect to your account is by using your session cookie, which you can retrieve using PhantomBuster's browser extension. It's a simple 2-click installation:
If you're operating from another browser, you can find your cookie manually.
Give the URLs of the LinkedIn profiles you're interested in
You have two options:
1. Process a single profile
Copy the LinkedIn profile URL and paste it into your Phantom's setup.2. Process multiple profiles
Create a spreadsheet with Google Sheets. Copy the LinkedIn profile URLs and paste them into your spreadsheet - one URL per row, all in column A.Make this spreadsheet public so PhantomBuster can access it.
Copy the spreadsheet URL and paste it into your Phantom's setup.
Take note: LinkedIn will only allow you to send messages to your 1st-degree connections, so make sure you're connected to the profiles you're giving to the Phantom to process.
Write and customize your message
This section allows you to automatically greet your connections in a personal way with a message of up to 8000 characters.
Write the message of your choice and customize it with variable placeholder tags. For this, you can use any column in your input or output spreadsheet by placing it between #s. For example:
Hey
#firstName#
, nice to meet you!
Any piece of data scraped from a profile can be used to personalize your messages, such as #company#, #jobTitle#, and #location#. You can find a comprehensive list of these potential tags in the "We will output..." section on LinkedIn Network Booster's overview page:
For simplicity, we have also added the available placeholder tags underneath the text box. Just click on the one you want to use and it will be added to your text.
If using any of these fields other than #firstName#, you must ensure that you have checked "Scrape all available profile data" on the "Behavior" step of your Phantom's setup so that they are scraped.

Where the same column name is found in both your input and output spreadsheet, the input spreadsheet will take priority.
Take note:
These tags are case-sensitive, so make sure to write them out correctly!
Emojis are not handled by this Phantom.
Specify the number of profiles to process per launch
Choose how many profiles you want this automation to process each time it runs. This helps you control your usage and stay within platform limits.
Choose your condition for sending messages
You have 3 options:
1. Send to all
Send the message to all the profiles you've given.2. Send only if the last message was from the recipient (Reply)
Only send the message in response to a user - meaning that if you were the last person to send a message in your thread, the message will not be sent.3. Send only if the last message was from me (Follow up)
Only send the message as a follow-up to a user - meaning that if the recipient was the last person to send a message in your thread, the message will not be sent.Enrich your leads with verified professional email addresses
Turn LinkedIn profiles into full-fledged leads by enriching them with professional email addresses.
How email discovery works:
The service uses each profile’s full name and company name to search for a professional email address, verify it, and return the result.Choose your enrichment method:
1. Use PhantomBuster credits
Each PhantomBuster plan includes monthly email discovery credits:1 credit = 1 attempt to find and verify an email for 1 profile.
Credits reset monthly.
2. Use your own third-party service
Connect an external email discovery tool by entering your API key from one of these platforms:Take note: Not every profile will return a verified email address, but this step can dramatically increase your chances of landing in inboxes, not just InMail. It depends on the data available, so your number of emails found may be lower than your credits used.
Set the Phantom on repeat
Automation always produces better results in the long run. Set the Phantom to launch repeatedly and get results while you're away!
This Phantom runs from the cloud, which means you don't even need to have your browser open or computer on for these launches to happen. For more automatic launch options, click on the three little dots in the top right and "Show advanced settings."
