How to use the LinkedIn Profile Follower Collector
PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Profile Follower Collector Automation extracts followers from your own LinkedIn personal profile. This tutorial covers how to connect your account, configure extraction, and retrieve results efficiently.
Required inputs: LinkedIn session cookie and browser user agent (auto-detected when using the PhantomBuster extension).
Extraction scope: Works only for followers of your own personal profile; does not support company pages or other people’s profiles.
Execution estimates: Approximately 10 minutes per 900 followers.
Slot usage: 1 slot.
Free plan limitations: CSV exports include only the first 10 rows; dynamic CSV viewing links and JSON exports are not available.
Connect your LinkedIn account: Install the PhantomBuster browser extension (Chrome or Firefox) to connect your session automatically, or manually provide your session cookie if using a different browser.
Configure follower extraction: Choose whether to enable "Enrich leads" to fetch public details (headline, company) and sync with the LinkedIn Leads database.
Enabling enrichment significantly increases runtime but is required for profiles to appear in the LinkedIn Leads database. Without it, only basic details (name, URL) are extracted to the Results tab.
Set result file options: Optionally rename your results file or specify "Fields to keep" to generate a separate CSV with selected data points.
Renaming the results file triggers the creation of a new file and restarts processing from scratch.
Choose launch frequency: Select manual execution or set a schedule (e.g., daily, business hours) to keep your list updated or run after another Phantom.
Adjust advanced settings (optional): Keep default settings unless you need to configure specific execution limits, proxies, or webhooks.
Launch and retrieve results: Click Launch to start the extraction, then view your data in the Results tab or download it as a CSV/JSON file once complete.
