LinkedIn Group Member Message Sender

Tutorial

  1. Connect to LinkedIn using PhantomBuster's browser extension

This automation acts on your behalf on LinkedIn. The safest and most efficient way for the Phantom to connect to your account is by using your session cookie, which you can retrieve using PhantomBuster's browser extension. It's a simple 2-click installation:

If you're operating from another browser, you can find your cookie manually.

    cb connect to linkedIn step

  2. Give the URL of the LinkedIn group you're interested in

This Phantom will only process a single LinkedIn group at a time.

Copy the group URL of the group and paste it into your Phantom's setup, or click on "My Phantoms" to use a group URL found in the results of another Phantom's input.

  3. Write and customize your message

This section allows you to automatically reach out to your fellow group members in a personal way with a message of up to 8000 characters.

To personalize your messages, use the placeholder buttons underneath the text box to input placeholders such as #firstName#, #lastName# or #company# in the message. For LinkedIn messages, you can find the available placeholders by clicking on the + sign when "Scrape all available profile data" is checked.

You can still type the placeholder tags manually, but remember that the tag is case-sensitive, so make sure to write them out correctly!

    Hey #firstName#, let's chat!

Take note: Emojis are not handled by this Phantom.

  4. Attach a file to your message

You can attach a file to your message, such as a proposal, white paper, a CV, or a job description. The maximum file size is 20 MB.

  5. Specify the number of group members you want to message

    Specify the Phantom's actions:

    1. Number of members to message per group
The total number of members you'd like to send a message to from the given group.
(Keep in mind that LinkedIn only displays the most recent 2500 members of a group.)

    2. Number of messages to send per launch
The number of profiles you'd like the Phantom to send a message to each time it launches.
(If the Phantom does not message all of the members of one group during a launch, it will pick up from where it left off in the next launch.)

It's always best to follow the recommendations given and not process too many at once in order to keep your account safe.

  6. Set the Phantom on repeat

Automation always produces better results in the long run. Set the Phantom to launch repeatedly and get results while you're away!

This Phantom runs from the cloud, which means you don't even need to have your browser open or computer on for these launches to happen.
