How to use the LinkedIn Join Group Inviter
PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Join Group Inviter Automation lets you send group invitations to your LinkedIn connections at scale. This tutorial covers the essential steps to set up and launch the Automation efficiently.
Prerequisites: You must be a member of the target LinkedIn Group and have a connected LinkedIn account.
Input requirements: For best results, inputs must be your 1st-degree LinkedIn connections. Google Sheets must be public ("Anyone with the link").
Safety limits: Send up to 80 invitations per day on Basic LinkedIn or 150 per day on Premium. The maximum limit per launch is 100.
Free plan limitations: CSV upload inputs are not supported, and CSV exports include only the first 10 rows.
Resource usage: This Phantom uses 1 slot.
Provide your connections list: Choose your input source: select a saved LinkedIn Leads list, paste a profile URL, use a public Google Sheet, or use results from another Phantom. If using a spreadsheet, the Phantom reads column A by default unless a different column header is specified.
Provide the group URL: Enter the LinkedIn Group URL for the group you want to invite connections to.
Connect your LinkedIn account: Install the PhantomBuster browser extension (Chrome or Firefox) for one-click connection, or paste your LinkedIn session cookie manually.
Keep your browser updated; outdated browsers can cause session cookies to expire quickly and require frequent reconnection.
Configure how many invitations to send: Set the number of profiles to invite per launch (default 10). Plan multiple launches if needed to reach your target while staying within daily limits.
Select launch frequency: Choose to launch manually, schedule repeated runs (e.g., daily), launch after another Phantom, or use advanced scheduling for precise timing.
Optional: Adjust advanced settings: Leave default settings unless needed. You can fine-tune execution limits, retries, notifications, proxies, and file management here.
Launch and review results: Click Launch. After completion, review invited profiles in the Results tab and download the data as a CSV or export to Google Sheets.
