How to use the Reddit Profile Scraper Automation
PhantomBuster’s Reddit Profile Scraper Automation helps you evaluate the credibility and activity of Reddit users by extracting profile data such as karma, account age, and contribution counts. This tutorial guides you through setting up and running the Automation efficiently.
Input requirements: Provide a single Reddit profile URL or a list via Google Sheet. CSV upload is available for paid plans only.
Free plan limits: Free plan users can export a maximum of 10 rows and cannot use CSV upload.
Rate limits: The Automation processes approximately 100 profiles per launch, taking around 3 minutes 40 seconds.
Data constraints: Profile data is a snapshot and may change over time. Private, deleted, or suspended profiles will limit available data.
Provide Reddit Profile URLs: Enter a single Reddit profile URL or supply a list via Google Sheet.
Connect Your Reddit Account: Link your Reddit account by verifying the session cookie using the PhantomBuster browser extension or by manual entry.
Configure Behavior: Set the number of profiles to scrape per launch. Leave this field empty to process the maximum.
Set Launch Frequency: Choose how often to run the Automation (Manual, Repeated, etc.) to fit your workflow needs.
Launch the Automation: Start the Automation to begin extracting Reddit profile data.
Start with a small batch to validate the output and use this Automation to filter out low-credibility accounts.
By following these steps, you can efficiently gather and assess Reddit user information for your research or analysis. For a detailed walkthrough and troubleshooting tips, see the tutorial on the help center.
