How to use the LinkedIn Post Engagers to Lead Outreach
PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Post Engagers to Lead Outreach Workflow extracts LinkedIn post engagers and automates your outreach. This tutorial covers the essential steps to set up and launch your Workflow efficiently.
Input limitations: Input is limited to a single LinkedIn source link (post, company page, profile, or post search). Google Sheets or multi-URL inputs are not supported.
Prerequisites: Requires a connected LinkedIn account via the PhantomBuster browser extension or a valid session cookie.
Daily safety limits: The recommended maximum is 20 invites per weekday. LinkedIn generally allows up to ~100 invites per week.
Free plan limitations: Invite messages are limited to 200 characters and 5 personalized invites per month (Premium allows 300 characters and unlimited personalized invites).
Workflow structure: This automation combines multiple Phantoms and cannot be chained directly to another Phantom. It runs on automatic smart intervals.
Choose your LinkedIn source and engagement types: Select a single LinkedIn source (company page, profile page, post, or post search) and pick which engagement types to extract: Likers and/or Commenters.
Extraction works only for public posts or posts visible to the connected LinkedIn account.
Define your target audience with AI filters: Use LinkedIn profile filters like Job title, Location, and Industry to narrow down prospects. You can further refine your audience later in the LinkedIn Leads page.
Connect your LinkedIn account: Install the PhantomBuster browser extension and connect your LinkedIn session in one click, or manually add your session cookie. Keep your browser up to date to maintain a stable session.
Customize the connection request message (optional): Enable the option to personalize your LinkedIn connection request and write your invite. Make sure to follow character limits and use placeholder tags if needed.
Emojis and hyperlinks are not supported. Placeholder tags like #reactionType# (always in English) and #postAuthorName# count toward character limits.
Write and schedule follow-up messages: Enable and schedule up to three follow-up messages with specific delays (0–15 days). Follow-ups are sent only after the connection is accepted and if the lead has not replied.
Each follow-up can include up to 8,000 characters and attachments up to 20 MB combined. Links in messages or attachments appear as plain text.
Set daily invitation limits: Choose how many connection invites to send per day. The recommended safe limit is around 20 per weekday to avoid account restrictions.
Adjust advanced settings (optional): Keep default advanced options unless instructed otherwise. Settings include execution limits, retries, notifications, proxies, webhooks, and file management.
Launch the Workflow to extract engagers: Toggle the Workflow ON to start extraction. PhantomBuster will gather post engagers and prepare your outreach.
The Workflow runs on automatic smart intervals and does not include manual or custom launch scheduling.
Filter results and start outreach: Use the Outreach queue filters to review and confirm leads. Toggle on LinkedIn outreach to send invites and follow-ups automatically.
Track performance and statuses: Monitor Invitations sent/accepted, Follow-ups sent, Replies, and Skipped/failed leads in the dashboard.
Invitations and follow-ups are sent gradually throughout the workday. If the "Accepted" tab is empty, follow-ups may have already been sent or the recipients replied.
Pause, edit, or delete as needed: From the Dashboard, toggle OFF to pause the Workflow, or use the three-dot menu to edit settings or delete it.
