How to use the LinkedIn Job Scraper
PhantomBuster’s LinkedIn Job Scraper Automation extracts job post data directly from LinkedIn. This short guide shows you how to connect your account, add job URLs, configure settings, and download your results.
Daily safety limits: Scrape a maximum of 80 job posts per day, or up to 150 per day with LinkedIn Premium.
Input requirements: A connected LinkedIn session (cookie) and specific job post URLs are required.
Plan limitations: On Free/Trial plans, CSV exports include only the first 10 rows, and JSON downloads or CSV uploads are unavailable.
Data variability: Due to LinkedIn A/B testing, fields like experience level or company insights may not appear consistently.
Resources: The Automation uses 1 slot while running and takes approximately 15 seconds per job.
Connect your LinkedIn account: Install the PhantomBuster browser extension to connect your session in one click, or manually retrieve your session cookie if not using Chrome or Firefox.
Ensure your browser is up to date; outdated versions may cause session cookies to expire quickly, requiring frequent reconnection.
Provide LinkedIn job post URLs: Paste a single job post URL, add a public Google Sheet (shared with "Anyone with the link"), or upload a CSV file (paid plans only). By default, the Phantom reads column A; specify a different header if needed.
To scrape a list of jobs from a search, first use the LinkedIn Search Export (Advanced mode) to generate the job URLs, then chain that output here.
Configure scraping settings: Set the number of jobs to scrape per launch (maximum 10). You can also name your results file and select specific fields to keep in the output.
Because the limit is 10 jobs per launch, schedule multiple launches to process larger lists safely. Renaming the results file between launches will restart processing from the beginning.
Select launch frequency: Choose to launch manually, on a schedule (recommended for larger lists), after another Automation, or with advanced timing options.
Optional: Adjust advanced settings: Leave these at default unless you need to configure proxies, webhooks, or specific retry behavior.
Launch and retrieve results: Click Launch to start the process. Once finished, view your data in the Results tab and download it as a CSV or JSON file.
